About
Ojo, Aderemi is a Historian, teacher, public speaker, writer, politician, and community organiser.
He was trained at the University of Ibadan, where he was also President of the Students Union.
He has worked with several media organisations, including the Tribune Newspapers, Ibadan, Nigeria. He hosts the podcast “Nigeria’s History In Our Time”.
And founded the Platinum Deremi Hub to give media to journalists, researchers, and politicians to share their ideas for the public to reflect on.

In 2013, he enrolled at the University of Ibadan for the History and Diplomatic Studies diploma program, where he had a Credit score and graduated in August 2014. He began his Bachelor's degree in World History in 2016.
As a student at the University of Ibadan, Aderemi has been involved in extracurricular projects. He was Director of Communications at the All-Nigerian United Nations Students and Youth Organization in 2014 and was appointed Chairman of the Publicity of the same organisation in 2015. He is said to have left with a reputation of modesty in the organisation. He was a Faculty of Arts Press Organization member and served as Political Editor of the Union of Campus Journalists, the University of Ibadan, between 2014 and 2016. He was appointed Editor-General of the University of Ibadan Press Club in 2015. He acted as Vice President of the Literary and Debating Society of the Faculty of Arts in 2015. He was Visiting Editor at the Faculty of Agric Press in 2015. He interned with the Nigerian Tribune in 2015 and was described as "exceptionally brilliant" by a staff of the newspaper company in Ibadan. He was appointed Director of Media of the National Association of Nigerian Students in Oyo State.
Ojo, Aderemi becomes President of the Student Union Government, University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Ojo Aderemi, while at the 200 level, contested for the Presidency of the University of Ibadan Students Union in 2017 and won 49 percent of the votes against three other candidates. He championed the cause of Student welfare, independence, and participation in the decision-making process of the University. He joined the Global Leadership Network as host and Co-Convener in August 2018. He spoke and appeared on reputable platforms to give talks on democracy, personal democracy, history, and good governance.
Ojo, Aderemi champions various causes to diversify information and contribute to Nigeria's Political Atmosphere.
He founded the Platinum Deremi Hub and the website www.platinumderemi.com which he funded by himself, in November 2018. The Platinum Deremi hub gives media to journalists, researchers, politicians, activists, and entertainers to present their ideas for the public to reflect on. He is the author of "Dear Successor," an epistolary book, and "Olùkọ" an abridged chapter from his forthcoming memoir "Àrọ́bá." He is also the convener of the Àwa'rawa Movement - a campaign group for developmental politics, youth participation in politics, local government autonomy, and the restructuring of Nigeria. Projects
Platinum Deremi Hub (PD Hub) is an opinion, debate, and research publishing tribune founded in October 2018 by Ojo, Aderemi. In 2019, He created the Serious Question Series (SQS) where journalists, students, researchers and opinion makers will gather to express their opinions on a serious political question. During the Pandemic, Ojo Aderemi created a platform to engage young people in reading and discussions - #BookChallengewithAderemi. In 2022, He collaborated with the office of the Student Affairs, Oyo State to create the Seyi Makinde Campus Ambassadors Program. He is also the convener of the Àwa'rawa Movement - a campaign group for developmental politics, youth participation in politics, local government autonomy, and the restructuring of Nigeria.
